Community Charity Projects
1st Annual Instrument Drive - Tunes for Tots
Tax Deductible

Some of our founders did not have financial means as children and only by the grace of others, have found their way through music. We are paying it forward, and hope that Kansas City will join us too.
Christmas 2015, we hosted a charity drive to provide music instruments to children so we can uplift their spirits. After searching for the right partner, we decided to work with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City because of all the great work that they are doing in the community at large. McDonald's is a great corporation with a great mission. These kids really needed our help, because many of them are going through trying times. Crayton Corp. and 825 Studios, have banded together to make a change.
Next year, to help out in this mission, drop off your gently used or new instruments at 825 Studios between the hours of 2p and 5pm, from November 1st until December 25th. Leave us your name and the value of the instrument(s). On Christmas, we will drop off the items and they will issue charitable tax receipts, which can be mailed to YOU the donor. You give, and you shall receive. Thank you all that have given so far to the mission, we guarantee that these kids will have something great and unexpected under the tree this year.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Ariel Penner at apenner@rmhckc.org, or Jessica Christman at info@825studios.com.

Midwest Music Foundation
10% of Earnings Donated
ARE YOU A MEMBER OF MIDWEST MUSIC FOUNDATION? We have great benefits for members!
Members of Midwest Music Foundation (MMF) benefit the MMF by booking time and using services at 825 Studios. How does that work? 10% of MMF client's invoice amounts will be sent to MMF as a donation from 825 Studios, to help their charity efforts.
So what does the MMF do? Founded in 2008 by a collective of musicians and music lovers, MMF is a nonprofit created to support music and musicians in Kansas City and the surrounding areas. MMF supports musicians so they can keep the music alive. They offer services in education, outreach, and health care options to the Kansas City music community.
We recently sponsored MMF's concert event fundraiser to benefit Kansas City's music community. At the event, we gave away free recording hours for musicians.

Community Project
Fundraising Goal: $100,000

Our outreach to locate interested youth is via the radio, television, newsprint and local magazines, and utilizing website advertising. The funding required to make such an advertising outreach is substantial. We would also like to provide college scholarships for 1-3 students per year, as well as, 1-3 field trips per year for select students to meet with world-renown music and TV producers in Los Angeles and New York.
We hope to raise $60,000 to help 60 kids ($1k per kid) and $40,000 for college scholarships (up to $5k per scholarship) and advertising. The scholarships will be awarded to a select few.
Furthermore, we will donate our valuable time at no cost, with hopes of helping youth find inspiration through art and attain valuable work experience and skills.
Talent Showcase Concert
Fundraising Goal: $75,000

The need is to: (1) rent a venue, apply for temporary licensing, hire a sound crew, etc.; and (2) raise funds to provide travel and lodging arrangements for record label executives from New York and Los Angeles and provide the A&R’s with a cash incentive to travel to Kansas City.
The event shall be arranged for the summer of 2016 or 2017, and maybe recorded. We’re starting an early pledge drive so that will give us time to acquire the talent and get commitments from executives.
